Inspired by the timeless silhouette of traditional Japanese teapots, the KATA collection combines elegant craftsmanship with practical, modern functionality for everyday tea brewing.

Nagika (凪華), meaning "Bloom on Calm Waters," is inspired by flowers resting on a tranquil water surface. The matte white porcelain is delicately decorated with a tone-on-tone Shippo pattern, where a softly lustrous finish contrasts gently against the matte body. Inspired by lace, the design creates subtle depth while reflecting the quiet elegance of Japanese craftsmanship.

Designed with both beauty and functionality in mind, this teapot features a durable stainless steel handle, a removable stainless steel tea strainer, and a drip-free spout for clean, effortless pouring. The innovative lid can be inverted to hold used tea leaves or hooked onto the rim of the teapot while serving, helping keep your table neat and tidy.

The fine, lightweight construction of these vessels makes them beautifully delicate. To preserve their finish, we recommend gentle hand washing, as dishwashers may cause chipping.

Notes
Each piece is handcrafted, with slight variations in form and texture. Subtle glaze variations are a natural characteristic of the making process and add to the unique expression of each piece.

Small black specks may appear on the surface due to naturally occurring iron in the clay. These are a normal characteristic of Japanese ceramics and are not considered defects.

The matte, unglazed surface gives each piece its distinctive texture. As unglazed porcelain is more susceptible to scratches and staining, we recommend handling it with care.
