JAPANESE ART GREETING CARD - MOUNT FUJI COLLECTION | NBC

A beautifully crafted Japanese greeting card featuring Mount Fuji through five distinctive artistic interpretations.

Each card includes both a pre-printed seasonal message sheet and a blank message sheet, allowing it to be used for New Year greetings, celebrations or a personal message throughout the year.

Description

Mount Fuji has long been one of the most recognisable subjects in Japanese art, appearing across painting, woodblock prints and decorative design for centuries.

This collection presents the mountain through five different visual interpretations, ranging from delicate cherry blossoms and quiet golden tones to the bold colours of Aka Fuji — the iconic image of Mount Fuji glowing red.

The cards are particularly well considered beyond the artwork itself. Each comes with two interchangeable inner message papers: one printed with a seasonal New Year greeting, and another left blank for your own words. A matching envelope is also included.

This makes the card much more versatile than a conventional New Year card. It can be sent for a birthday, celebration or thank-you, included with a gift, or simply given to someone who appreciates Japanese art.

The combination of Mount Fuji, seasonal Japanese imagery and carefully selected paper gives these cards a quality that also makes them suitable for keeping or displaying after the message has been received.

Five Designs

Golden Fuji
A restrained composition of Mount Fuji beneath a warm golden sky and rising sun. Quiet, spacious and elegant, with a distinctly Japanese sense of ma — beauty created through space and restraint.

Fuji & Sakura
Snow-covered Mount Fuji against a deep blue ground, framed by delicate cherry blossoms. A refined composition bringing together two of Japan's most recognisable natural symbols.

Fuji in Full Bloom
Mount Fuji rises beyond an expansive landscape of pale pink cherry blossom, with a striking golden band running through the composition. The most decorative and celebratory design in the collection.

Red Fuji & Sakura
A vivid red Mount Fuji surrounded by stylised cherry blossoms. Bright and auspicious, it combines the strength of Aka Fuji with the softness and optimism associated with spring.

Red Fuji
A bold interpretation of Aka Fuji, with the mountain rendered in deep red beneath a brilliant blue sky. Simple, graphic and immediately recognisable as an image rooted in Japanese visual culture.

Summary

More than a seasonal greeting card, this Mount Fuji collection combines Japanese art, thoughtful paper details and flexible gifting into a small piece designed to be enjoyed long after the message has been read.
