Designed for both everyday dining and elegant presentation, the YOUHEN Flat Plate celebrates the beauty of Japanese craftsmanship through simplicity and natural kiln-fired character.

Inspired by the Japanese concept of Youhen (Kiln Transformation), each plate develops subtle variations in colour and texture during firing. The interaction of clay, glaze and flame creates a unique finish, ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Its generous 27cm flat surface is ideal for serving main courses, sharing dishes, breakfast plates or beautifully plated desserts. The clean silhouette and softly raised rim allow food to take centre stage, while the refined matte glaze complements both modern and traditional table settings.

Fired at 1300°C in a shuttle kiln and crafted from durable Japanese porcelain, this plate combines timeless aesthetics with everyday practicality.
