The WANOWA series celebrates the warmth and familiarity of Japanese decorative patterns through textured washi-style paper, gentle colours and shimmering gold foil details.

Rather than following a single motif, the collection brings together different expressions of the same visual language. Playful cats appear alongside familiar Japanese patterns; pandas are paired with the traditional Sankuzushi geometric motif; while the pattern design explores colourful shapes inspired by familiar Japanese sweets and decorative forms.

The softly textured surface gives the stickers a warmer, more tactile character than smooth printed stickers, while carefully placed gold foil catches the light without overwhelming the illustrations.

Variants

Cats
A warm collection of cats resting, playing with yarn and curling up together, accompanied by fish, bells, paw prints and Japanese-inspired decorative patterns. Orange, black and calico tones give this design a particularly cosy character.

Pandas
Playful pandas appear alone and in pairs, framed by soft green and yellow shapes. The design incorporates Sankuzushi, a traditional Japanese geometric pattern, adding a subtle Japanese decorative element to the otherwise playful animal theme.

Traditional Patterns
A more abstract interpretation of the WANOWA aesthetic, combining circles, hexagons and softly rounded forms with colourful dots, stripes and Japanese-inspired motifs. Some patterns reference konpeitō, the small colourful sugar sweets long familiar in Japan.
